What is co-living /community-based living?

Our community living culture allows residents to enjoy the use of shared spaces that improve their quality of life by facilitating greater comfort and convenience, lower cost, and a sense of social belonging. There is a collaborative mindset where inmates share similar values and feel connected to their peers and to their local community through specially curated events which cater to a variety of interests and experiences.

How many beds do you have?

We have 35 bed in total of 20 rooms comprising 5 single and 15 twin sharing rooms. The rooms feature either single, twin sharing with all single beds depending on the room category.

What are your security features?

Safety is our top priority at Uptown stays. Our security features include:

• 24/7 CCTV cameras.
• Swipe cards for each room.
• 24/7 Watch man/Security staff

Do you have power backup?

Yes, We have 4 hour battery backup which connects to fans, lights in all the rooms, lights of corridor & terrace, wifi network and CCTV security system.

Do you offer housekeeping services and what exactly do they include?

Yes we do! Twice a week housekeeping, which covers surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing garbage and cleaning of wash rooms.

Do you have gender-specific accommodation?

Yes. The present accommodation at 21, TNGO Colony, Financial district, Nanakram Guda reserved for females only.
However, the upcoming accommodations are uni-sex accommodations / living spaces divided with the gender specific floors, unless they reserved for female.

What contract lengths do you provide?

You are welcome to stay for as long as you like! Minimum contract length/stay is is 1 month. If some one joins in middle of the month, they should stay till the end of next month.

What’s included in the rent?

From your first day with us, enjoy all-inclusive renting. Your accommodation comes fully furnished and ready-to-live in, while Wi-Fi, utilities or housekeeping service two times per week are included in your bill. However, the energy charges will be additional apart from a tube light and fan usage and charges to be shared between the roommates and a mandatory mess charges Rs.3000/ per head. Break fast, Dinner will be served on all the days and Lunch will be served on the weekends i.e. Saturaday & Sunday and on the major holidays

What’s the food menu?

Morning breakfast consists of three items (idli -regular, Dosa/utappam/Vada/bonda, Upma/Semiya Upma/Poha with coffeee/tea/milk) apart from Bread on every day and consists of poori/chapati/aloo parata on weekends. Meal menu consists of salad,two roti with subji/curry, rice with suitable curry/fry, sambar/rasam, curd. Egg curry/fry twice a week and Chicken curry on Sunday lunch will be served as optional menu.

If I am staying long term, do I need to move in on a specific date?

No, when you arrive, is entirely up to you! Regardless of your contract date and duration, we are fully flexible about move-in and move-out dates.

What is the guest policy?

This is your home – of course you can have friends & relatives over! Any inmate may invite her friend of same gender to access the public areas, though we do require every visitor to register/sign in for security reasons. Parents/siblings/friends can be accommodated till two days at a stretch based on daily tariff, subject to availability of rooms.

Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately no, we do not accommodate any pets on our premises. To be fair to all residents, we cannot allow any furry friends.

What is your smoking policy?

We operate a strict no-smoking policy throughout all our facilities. All of our rooms and public areas are designated as non-smoking.

What is your cancellation policy?

We are charging nominal fees of Rs.2000/- against room reservation, the amount will be forfeited in case of cancellation. We do encourage our members to only book for their intended length of stay and inform us as soon as possible when a change of plan occurs.

Can I extend my stay?

we would definitely love to have you with us for longer! Lease extensions or renewals are subject to availability, so please do try to inform us in advance if you're planning on extending your stay.

What methods of payment do you accept?

How are utilities charged?

Utilities are already included in your rent except your electricity bill. The billing process is transparant and simple,so you will always know what to expect. No hidden fees, no extra costs, no surprises.

Is there a security deposit?

You have to pay Rs.10000/- as security deposit (SD) if you opt for twin sharing room and Rs.15000/- in case of single room. The SD amount will be refunded on 10th of corresponding month once after your check-out.

Is there an application fee?

Not at all!

Are there any additional fees?

No! We value transparency, ease and convenience so what you see is what you get. There are no unexpected fees.
